Judging, Scoring & Decisions

1. Judging process

All eligible entries will be assessed by a selection of judges per category selected by the organisers.

Judges will assess entries against the published criteria for the relevant category, taking into account the information, evidence and supporting material submitted.

2. Judges' discretion

Judges are not required to make decisions on winners and they do not judge all categories. 

3. Conflicts of interest

Judges must declare any actual or potential conflict of interest. Where a conflict exists, the judge will not participate in the assessment or decision relating to the relevant entry.

4. Judging criteria and information provided

Entrants are responsible for ensuring that their submission is accurate, complete and supported by appropriate evidence.

Judges will generally assess entries based on the information available to them at the time of judging and are not responsible for independently verifying claims made within an entry.

5. Judging scores and deliberations

Judging scores, rankings, discussions and deliberations are confidential and will not normally be disclosed. The organisers may, at their discretion, provide general feedback but are under no obligation to do so.

6. Final decision

The judges' decisions are final and no correspondence or appeal will be entered into regarding the merits, scoring, ranking or outcome of an entry.

7. Category changes

The organisers reserve the right, where appropriate, to amend, combine, suspend or withdraw a category, or to transfer an entry to another category, should circumstances require.

8. No award requirement

The organisers reserve the right to withhold an award where the judges determine that no entry meets the required standard. Multiple winners, joint winners or no winner may be selected Ian the discretion of the Chair of Judges. 

9. Eligibility and disqualification

The organisers reserve the right to reject or disqualify an entry where eligibility requirements have not been met, information provided is materially inaccurate or misleading, or the entry does not comply with the published entry requirements.

10. Organisers' discretion

The organisers reserve the right to make reasonable decisions necessary to ensure the integrity, fairness and smooth operation of the awards and judging process. Such decisions shall be final.
