Mechanical Engineer who started early career working with a Tier 1 automotive supplier as a test engineer, Production Manager and Plant Manager. Started working in the plastics industry in 1992 as Operations Director of a large injection moulding business, moving into compounding of a variety of polymers including TPE, TPV, PVC, PBT, PA, to name a few. 

20 years as Managing Director EMEA with AlphaGary and Teknor Apex, leading developments in HFFR materials, TPE's for a wide variety of markets including food contact, medical device and other regulated markets. An earlier user of PIR/PCR for applications including automotive and other markets. Developed reclaiming process for nylon carpets, utilising the yarns in compounds for new material development. 

Currently VP Global Laboratories for NSF a leading global TIC company Improving Human Health with a focus on sustainability.
